GDT: Wings vs. Predators
The Detroit Red Wings (21-6-2) head into Nashville on a six game winning streak after defeating the Carolina Hurricanes last night, 5-2.
Chris Osgood will get the start since the Wings don't want Dominik Hasek to start in back-to-back games. Chris Chelios was going to stay behind in Detroit, but due to an undisclosed injury to a defenseman, he is coming to Nashville. It is unclear if the injury is serious and if Cheli will even be playing, but it sounds like they wanted to have him there just in case.
The game will be shown on FSN Detroit at 8pm. Go Wings!
P.S. I am currently in the middle of finals week at the University of Michigan. I have three exams, a paper, and project due between today and the 18th plus I will be working 45 hours over the next week so I sincerely apologize for the lack of posts.

I wish
that the NHL would get a better TV contract so that I could watch more Red Wings games. The Wings play hockey the way it SHOULD be played with crisp, fast passes, good clean checks and an amount of razzle dazzle that would make Michael Jordan's head spin.
Anyways, the Red Wings will most likely put the hurtin' on Nashville. The next game I can watch is on the 17th... until then I shall be in the hockey doldrums.
