The Detroit Red Wings (20-6-2) host their first early Sunday evening game (5pm) of the season when the Carolina Hurricanes (16-11-3) come into town. The Wings are hoping to win their sixth straight after Friday's victory against Minnesota gave them victory #20 (it was the fastest the team has reached 20 wins since the 2001-2 season when they went on to win the Cup).

Kirk Maltby and Kris Draper will likely still be out with injuries. Hasek will be in net to start the game in his third straight start this season.
