Season ticket holders can attend two practices

I received an email yesterday from the Red Wings announcing two open practices and a chance to talk with head coach Mike Babcock and GM Ken Holland for current season ticket holders (of which I am one). I won't put all the details here since it should be exclusive, but I wanted to mention that I was actually impressed the team is offering such an event. The meet and greet will last about one hour after both of the practices.

It also sounds like they're season ticket sales aren't so hot and the waiting list has pretty much disappeared.

Secondly, we want more fans like you with us for another run at the Stanley Cup. If you have a friend, colleague, family member, etc. that you think would make a great candidate for a Red Wings ticket plan, we will be glad to give them a call. For every referral that purchases a ticket plan, we will send you $25 in concession coupons to use at the Joe this season. Simply email your referrals to seasontickets@hockeytown.com, along with your account number, and a Ticket Sales Representative will follow through with you to alert you on the status of your contacts.
