Minnesota Wild scored three power play goals to defeat the Detroit Red Wings, 3-2, in Detroit's first home preseason game.

Recently acquired defenseman Brian Rafalski was unable to play due to a hip flexor injury. Tomas Kopecky will not play tomorrow because of a groin injury.

Forward Dan Cleary injured his ribs during today's game and will have a CAT scan and X-Rays on the injured site.

"It hurts pretty bad," said Cleary. "Hate to say anything now, but it doesn't feel good. Better now than later I guess."

I don't like that the injuries are just starting to pile on now. Hopefully Cleary will just have bruised ribs and no broken ones.
