Wings to sell $9 tickets

My jaw literally dropped when I read that the Detroit Red Wings will be selling some individual game tickets for $9!! It's nice to see the team finally acknowledge the awful Michigan economy and that some seats just aren't worth even $22 (and those seats are the ones in the last couple rows of the corner sections with an obstructed view).

The $9 tickets will be offered on a month-by-month basis. Only games in October at Joe Louis Arena will be available in the initial sale.

You can only purchase these tickets in person at the JLA box office and are limited to two per person.
