NHL releases new Winter Classic TV advertisement

PrintThe NHL just released a new advertisement for the Winter Classic on New Year's featuring the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks. The TV ad spot also highlights the iconic "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" song performed by Harry Caray.
Personally, I love it. As someone who went to Wrigley Field this summer, I liked how the commerical acknowledges that this game takes place at an iconic baseball stadium instead of pretending that it's just a hockey game between two teams. It's also nice to see both teams in their Winter Classic jerseys too.

I love this ad too – I was on a plane so I missed it airing during football last night but I’ve probably watched it 8 times already today.
