Much like Detroit, this team has been up and down. Detroit needs to take advantage of the amount of shots the Oilers give up per game and keep the shots down from guys like Sam Gagner and Ales Hemsky. Resident brawler Zack Stortini and some other Oilers bring a physical aspect to this team so it will be interesting to see how the Wings match up against them.

Players to watch on offense: Ales Hemsky, Dustin Penner, Sam Gagner (top line)

Players to watch on defense: Lubomir Vishnovsky, Denis Grebeshkov

The Copper & Blue is your source for any and all things Oilers related.

Zack Stortini

Stortini was hilarious when he was in Milwaukee with the Admirals. I could go to any game knowing that 80% of the time I’d see him get into fisticuffs. And he was a pretty fun guy off the ice. I’ve got a picture of me and him at season ticket holder’s autograph day—he’s ginormous. At least compared to my 5’9 frame.

"Career highlights? I had two. I got an intentional walk from Sandy Koufax and I got out of a rundown against the Mets." - Bob Uecker
