Apologies for the lack of a game thread during the first period, a total lapse on my part while traveling.

Join for the rest of the game, I won't be able to post in game either as I'm doing this from my phone but hopefully some of you will be able to talk about the game together.

Once again, sorry for the lack of a thread until now. Will have the recap up tomorrow most likely.

…and the Red Wings have gone seven and a half periods without an even strength goal and have four goals in three games. At least they haven’t fallen below 50% again.

I got to see the game on CBC. The wings came out with a lot of energy in the first two periods and were flying. They deserved more goals, but that’s how it goes sometimes. They looked a little sluggish in the first half of the third, thus the two montreal goals. The knee on knee by Laraque on Kronwall was awful and blatent. He says it wasn’t intentional, but the replay clearly shows he deliberatley stuck out his leg because he was obviously beat on the play (he looked like the fire hydrant he is.). Hopefully there’s a review of the play. Thankfully, the Wings won.
