PrintThe Detroit Red Wings (33-11-7) host the Edmonton Oilers (26-22-3) today at 3 p.m. for their first of three games in four days. The Oilers are currently tied for third place in the Western Conference so this would definitely be a nice win to have.
Tomas Holmstrom remains out as he headed to Philly for a sports hernia operation. Derek Meech is bugged by a groin issue so Ville Leino will make the lineup today. Ty Conklin will get the start in net (and I'm guessing Ozzie will start tomorrow in Pittsburgh).
The game will be shown on FSDetroit. Go Wings!
