[Game Thread] Wings vs. Flyers

PrintThe Detroit Red Wings (46-15-9) will face off against the Philadelphia Flyers (37-21-10) tonight at Joe Louis Arena. It will be the only matchup between these two teams during the regular season. As of Monday evening at 8pm (EST), the Wings sit atop the Western Conference while the Flyers sit as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.
Forward Valtteri Filppula is listed as day-to-day and may not play in tonight's contest. Chris Osgood will get his third straight start tonight after two strong outings this past weekend, including his 49th career shutout on Sunday against Columbus.
The game starts at 7:30 p.m. and will be shown on Versus. Go Wings!
