PrintThe Detroit Red Wings (49-17-9) host the Nashville Predators (37-30-8) later today at Joe Louis Arena with their second chance to earn their 50th win this season.
As of Saturday evening around 10:30 p.m., the Preds would be the Wings' first round opponent if the playoffs were to start right then. Nashville is fighting to hold onto its playoff spot so expect them to come out fighting today. Be sure to check out our SBN counterpart at On the Forecheck for more from the Preds' perspective.
Chris Osgood will get the start in goal today. Defenseman Andreas Lilja remains out with headaches and still has not been able to start conditioning.
The game starts at 5 p.m. and will be shown on FSDetroit Plus. Go Wings!
