The Detroit Red Wings (49-17-9) host the Nashville Predators (37-30-8) later today at Joe Louis Arena with their second chance to earn their 50th win this season.

As of Saturday evening around 10:30 p.m., the Preds would be the Wings' first round opponent if the playoffs were to start right then. Chris Osgood will get the start in goal today. Defenseman Andreas Lilja remains out with headaches and still has not been able to start conditioning.
