Wings to face Columbus in first round

After St. Louis defeated Colorado 1-0 this evening, the Detroit Red Wings will face off against the Columbus Blue Jackets in the first round of the 2009 NHL Playoffs.

I will update this post once we know the schedule of the games.

finally a good DEADWINGS blog

Hoping for a repeat

but I was hoping the Wings had drawn the Ducks ( I know much stiffer competition there) , but I live in LA so it would have been nice to see the Wings in a playoff game out here.
