Draper, Datsyuk Out for Game 2

PrintNot much to this story and its not a surprise really that Pavel Datyuk and Kris Draper are out of tonight's game again. To me, it's not really a surprise considering how close in start time games 1 & 2 are and Draper and Datsyuk were listed as out early yesterday or even before. Hopefully they'll be able to be back for Game 3.

It seems more and more likely to me that Datsyuk’s foot is really broken/fractured, the Wings know he won’t be able to skate effectively for a week or more, and are just blowing smoke at the Pens at this point. I hope I’m wrong, but I’ve come to grips with not seeing him til Game 5 at the earliest.
You may be right, actually. And why rush him back in when the kids are kicking butt like this?

I am thinking it is odd the Wings revealed it was his foot. I really think it is something else ,,like his Hip….
Anyway I doubt he will be back at all and that might be a problem if this goes 6 or 7. Leading scorer , arguably their best forward, Selke, Faceoffs, on and on.
Have to split , better yet win game 3 and seal the deal.
