Game 7: Who is going to win?

In the poll below, please tell us who you think is going to win Game 7 and consequently the Stanley Cup?

I believe the Wings will do it. I think they're the better team (when they actually play a full game), have a home crowd behind them, have the last line change to help with matchups, and got a couple days in between games to recover. But what do you guys think?

Detroit better win.

In the grand scheme of things, the pain of life is not worth it.

I’m picking Detroit….but it’s a confidence shot through with fear, honestly….1 game for all the marbles, who know what the refs are going to be like, it’s a toss up…

yeah, but before last year, no Newfie had ever won the Cup, and Dan Cleary put that right, so there!

In the interest of Hockey...

…I hope the Penguins play like they played on Tuesday, and the Wings played like they played last Saturday. In the interest of not having a heart attack before my 30th birthday, I hope the Wings play like they did against Colorado in ’02 and the Pens play like they played last Saturday. Not that I believe the Wings will really lose this game at home (chalk that up to arrogance if you want Pittsburgh), but nail biters of this magnitude will not do anything good for my health. In the words of the great Kwame Kilpatrick “The beer is on me…GO WEDWINGS!”

You get to be arrogant, the percentages and history are on your side, your record at home in the playoffs is near perfect…but we got one number on our side.
This is game 87 of the playoffs…the game starts at 8 it’s game 7…Crosby has a huge game.
It’s also our game 112 of the season, we need 1 win on the 12th, 112!
The stars are aligned…you can’t deny it.
Troll out…

Pretty cool :)

Still though, the Pens aren’t the only one with regards to that.
The Detroit Red Wings could win 12th home playoff win on the 12th of June for the 12th Cup as A2Y likes to say a lot lol

And though stats are on the Wings side…

Ugh, god I do hope the Pens win just to spite all those damn stats!

Go Pens :)

You crack me up...

…still not giving up on the Kid huh?! I’ll give you this, he did have a decent game when you said he would (maybe he didn’t wear out Hank and get two goals, but a two point game isn’t anything to be ashamed of). The kid is a great hockey player, and if he ever puts together the two-way game ala Stevie Y, he will truly be a force to reckon with (as if he isn’t that already).

Believe

Just like The Chief Art Rooney said, Believe…that’s all you gotta do is believe.

unfortunately

i will be working tonight till ten, so for about two hours of this game i will be surrounded by hair, make up and women who dont know how important tonight is. so i will be an anxious mess tonight and work and i really hope that by the time i make it to a tv (hopefully not getting pulled over b/c i already know that i will be speeding after work…) i will be happy and content.

i do not want to go to work at 8 am tomorrow hating life so…

LETS GO WINGS!!

I’m an historian, and I have the historian’s reluctance to make predictions. That said, go Wings!!!!
