Chelios throws ceremonial pitch
I was at the Detroit Tigers' game earlier today (please check out Bless You Boys for actual game coverage) and to my surprise, Chris Chelios threw out the ceremonial pitch before the contest. He was accompanied by teammates Darren McCarty and Kris Draper.
The jumbotron read, "Thank you, Chris!" and the announcer briefly asked fans to recognize Chelios' 25-year career, 10 of which happened in Detroit. Cheli then got a standing ovation from the fans (both Chicago Cubs and Detroit Tigers' fans), including myself.

That would've been awesome to see
Such a great player, I wish him the best of luck.
I hear it was a helluva game, too.
