You know I got this little thought buzzing around in my head, it keeps saying that our team is not even going to miss a beat. I mean a month from now commentators are going to be saying that the Detroit system has been developed by geniuses, they lose important players and it’s like they left their boots and the farm just filled them. WooHoo. GO WINGS!! Looking for Bertuzzi to point the finger and scare the other team sh*tless. I think if Babcock lets the reins go on this guy, he could do some real psycho damage on the other team. I think he’s almost back pre-assault, Calgary rein him pretty good but I remember when he had the Wings in fits before the assault, he carried that Vancouver Club.

I agree Bert as an offensive producer isnt going to happen…but ya know what can and probably will is Big Bert is gonna protect Pavel,Hank,Val,etc,and if nothing else do a Homer act in front of opposing goalies as much as his health will permit. I have a certain thought ringing in my head about what the Bertuzzi situation is kind of similar to but I’m not going to say it in fear it’d jinx us in the long run. Just be a big physical force and take care of your own end Bertuzzi, and Jimmy I hope you find you’re stride and make us sorry for not bringing you in last year to back up Ozzie. go get’em boys, let’s steamroll these pukes and make the world remember why we are HOCKEYTOWN.
