I want to take some time to step aside from all things sports and touch on the very recent and tragic earthquake in Haiti. The 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck on Tuesday in the south part of Haiti and the 20+ aftershocks have destroyed most of the country. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and the earthquake has taken a tremendous toll on the towns and more importantly the people. I don't want to get too into any of the details because any of the news sites you visit or shows you watch will do a better job than I can but I would like to offer a few links as to where you can donate.
I hope some of you will join me in donating to the relief funds and it doesn't have to be much but will still make a difference.
