I hope not

Aflac trivia was no more with the Tigers this year, I’d be pissed if curlies got tossed as well.

I always missed the trivia questions

Without the audio cue of the Aflac duck, I didn’t know when to watch for the question. :(

hashtags in twitter

Are used to give a tweet a subject, so you can search for tweets on a particular topic. For example, if a meme gets started like fake names for the NHL all star teams, when people toss out ideas they “tag” them with #nametheallstarteams and that way you can search for that topic and see a bunch of tweets on it.

When a conference is going on, there is often a hashtag for it so that people who are interested can follow what is happening on twitter. A comic convention might have the hashtag #comicon10 for example. Searching for the hashtag #H2H2 to find out what people are tweeting about H2H2 is another example.

You can also use them just for goofy reasons, like some of my hashtags I’ve used are #ihatenickpunto #sigh #argh

I never attack people on here. I only attack players I hate, like Bertuzzi.

You would have company in that.

why?

It’s easier to stab when the target is unaware. :D

the 7-2 includes the 4 games from 08-09. When we couldn’t beat pretty much anybody else, we could still beat the Wings.

You mean the year we went to the cup finals and the Avs golfed?

no, that’s cool, man.

by J.J. from Kansas on Nov 11, 2010 9:01 PM CST up reply actions

Yeah, they tried golfing that year, then decided hockey was more fun, and now here we are.

How'd that make you feel?

Did you enjoy seeing the Wings make the Finals for the 2nd year in a row (and yes, I’m sure you were happy when they lost) – you sound like a Bitter Blues fan

I wasn’t real interested in the finals that year. Frankly, I wanted both teams to lose so that didn’t work out too well.

2 years in a row you wanted that?

Yikes – must make it even harder to be an Avs fan – first sucking ass after the lockout, then watching your most bitter rival remain ultra-successful

At least we made the playoffs in 07-08. I had a more vested interest in wanting the Wings to lose that year because they knocked us out.

Lord Howard jokes……check
Red Wing Dave jokes……check
“Detroit is full of old guys” jokes……check
“Bertuzzi is a douchebag” jokes…….check

That’s pretty much what we do.

Fun game to be at.

Felt bad for the Oiler fans in front of me, but it was good times for the home town team. Bertuzzi was very strong in every zone, so was Cleary, so was Homer… a complete effort. It certainly helped that Edmonton made a lot of bad decisions and poor passes. Always good to see the superior team leave a boot print in the opposition.
