Happy Thanksgiving!
All three of us just wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving today and hope that you have a good one.
Now get off your computer and go eat some food and/or spend time with your family and friends. The Wings will be here tomorrow for you. But as for today, it's dominated by football so we'll help you out with the schedule below.
Here's your NFL schedule for Turkey Day:
- New England Patriots at Detroit Lions--12:30 p.m. ET, CBS
- New Orleans Saints at Dallas Cowboys--4:15 p.m. ET, FOX
- Cincinnati Bengals at New York Jets--8:20 p.m. ET, NFL Network
Here's your college football schedule:
- #17 Texas A&M Aggies at Texas Longhorns, 8:00 p.m. ET, ESPN
[And for the record, I don't eat my Hokie brethren on Thanksgiving day.]

Oh, is that what a Hokie is?
Figured it was something like a Hoosier, whatever the heck that is.
I'm expecting 100% improvement from the Lions this season.
According to Wikipedia
During the late unhappy war between the States it [North Carolina] was sometimes called the “Tar-heel State,” because tar was made in the State, and because in battle the soldiers of North Carolina stuck to their bloody work as if they had tar on their heels.

From what i've heard
it dates back to the 1700s when the Carolinas were known for shipbuilding. Tar was used to seal the bottom of the boats, hence those working on the boats would have Tar heels
Blatant Twitter Promotion, rarely updated, occasionally funny
I put $50 on the Lions beating the Patriots.
It was looking pretty good heading into the second half…
