I'm all for fairness in how the revenue $$ are divied up - i.e., the split between the owners and the players, and I absolutely belive that the players should get a fair share, but I DO NOT want to see hockey become MLB, where the biggest spenders get themselves a playoff team due to their payroll. The MLB "revenue sharing / salary cap" is a complete joke, the NHL has a good thing going right now - parity wise, and I want to see it continue.
I'm completely open on this topic, I really don't know what the NHLPA (or Don Fehr) has planned, but please, let's not let the NHL become the next MLB. I love baseball, but I'm not much of a fan any longer because I FUC*** HATE what MLB baseball has become.
