Home after an ugly five-game road trip in which they picked up only four points, the Red Wings face their favorite team, the San Jose Sharks.

Detroit has taken all three games against the best team in the NHL, most recently February 2, when they won 4-2. For the Red Wings, it will be second game back for Johann Franzen, who picked up an assist in his return Tuesday night against the Blues.

For San Jose, they lost last night in Columbus 3-0. Despite that, they're 7-2-1 in their last 10 and have effectively clinched a playoff spot. Joe Thornton leads the NHL in assists with 59.
