Detroit looks to get back on the winning track after a sluggish 3-2 SO loss to Edmonton. The game is the last of the three game trip to Western Canada and the Wings look to pick up 5 of a possible 6 points on the trip. Patrick Eaves is out of the line-up tonight with a head injury (probably precautionary) and the chances are that Jonathan Ericsson will play, likely at forward instead of his regular defensive position.
Puck drops at 10:00 p.m. ET and the game will air on FS-D and TSN. Comment below and as always, GO WINGS!

Casey...
You were blamed for the loss last night. You better be around tonight.

I was "damned" by someone last night
From now on, I pledge to be in every game thread with the exception of the Minnesota game (at H2H) and Nashville (driving back)
nah
I thought about swinging by to the game on the semi-way back but I’ve got too much due for school the next week.

I have a feeling
That all the Red Wings blogs are going to be a little quieter than usual that night. Unless the rink has WiFi and everyone is frantically posting on their various smartphones during the game. :)
"While there's life, there's hope." --Cicero
I get that feeling too
but I really hope there’s a game thread for us sorry souls who can’t go. :(

there will be a game thread
but i dont know who will be “leading” it
by Casey Richey on Mar 20, 2010 8:33 PM CDT up reply actions
We can probably fend for ourselves?
If it automatically shows up.
Or does someone HAVE to ‘lead’ it?
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are-Teddy Roosevelt
I think there is an autopost feature?
It would just pop up and the commenters can fend for themselves – like being left alone in the house while the parents are away for the weekend, maybe. :)

nah noone has to "lead" it

It’s also on CBC, and they have to give Don Cherry enough time to get all the jackass out of his system for another week.

Second: $20 from me + $1 from Serven
Third: $20 from me + $1 from Serven
All Subsequent: $1 from Serven

The “not wanting” part. These are for the most part the same guys who “wanted it” so much for the last two years that they made the finals twice and won once.
They just aren’t as good as they used to be because their depth has been depleted by both the salary cap and the injuries. The spread top-to-bottom league-wide is much tighter.
