Overflow thread: Red Wings at Canucks
Two goals five seconds apart in the second followed by a shorthanded goal from birthday boy Valtteri Filppula put the Red Wings up 3-2 heading into the third period of play.
Daniel Sedin ties the game early in the third at 3-3 off a high pass that he puts on the ground and across the ice.

nope
I just think it’s hilarious. This is some of the most fun around a game that I’ve had in a while.

Speaking of that, why is there such a delay?
If I wasn’t on Twitter, and didn’t know to come here, I’d never be on game threads. I get the updates the next morning on Facebook
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are-Teddy Roosevelt
There really is a massive delay

yeah i have no idea
it makes me kind of pissed. i woke up this morning to see the morning skate and game thread…really helpful (sarcasm) when you try to drive traffic via facebook.

I just kind of ignore the WIM updates on Facebook anyway
Between Twitter and checking here regularly anyway, I don’t really need it, I’m just fanned on there to drive up the numbers, but other people might just check there, so i was just curious

Sleazy goal to tie it up. Canucks have been getting all the chances, though, had to get a bounce sooner or later.
