Detroit looks to keep some good momentum going after a good win over the Predators. Chicago won its last game out, 6-3 over Vancouver. Marian Hossa will be the target for Detroit on offense but there's too much offense in addition to Hossa so the Wings need to play tight defense all game long. The passing for Detroit was much better in the Predators game and the Wings will need that chemistry again.
Puck drops at 12:30 p.m. ET and will air on NBC. Comment away below and as always, GO WINGS!

It’s gorgeous outside here. I’m rooting for a Wings win and a quick game. I’m ready to go out and get some Vitamin D….been too long since we really saw sunshine here. Good omen for today’s game, haha.

Well,I like it okay, but I’m not exactly impartial..born and raised here, it’s difficult to hate the place. To get a feel for the true UP, gotta listen to something by Da Yoopers (yes, an actual band) they sing some pretty funny stuff.
Like “Da second week of deer camp.”
I live in the central lower peninsula, but have been farther north on trips – haven’t been across the bridge in a while, because it would require taking a longer vacation than I’ve been able to swing for a long time. Maybe this summer, though – last summer/fall I went to Sleeping Bear Dunes and had a great time. I timed the weather perfectly – it was warm during the day, but not so hot that hiking was miserable. And the next week after I left it got cold and rainy.

I will probably go for a walk shortly, because it will be more enjoyable than trying to hold down the Pierre-McSplooge-induced bile. Ugh.

Yeah, that’s a good one. They have some that you have to be able to laugh at yourself, or you’re gonna get insulted. Pictured Rocks Lakeshore is beautiful too. There’s a lot of awesome places in the UP, but it’s mainly known for the snowmobiling in the winter. (noisy things).
I’m debating a snowshoe walk after the game. I’m afraid I’m gonna sink deep though, even with the ’shoes, because the snow is so warm.
My sister went to pictured rocks a few years ago – that’s a long, long drive, so I’d have to take plenty of time off. I am considering it though – and a trip to Tacquemenon Falls along the way, because I haven’t seen that area since a family vacation when I was in junior high.

The passing for Detroit was much better in the Predators game and the Wings will need that chemistry again.
Hopefully without the boneheaded mistake by Rafalski this time.

Yeah, but at the same time
He does give up massive, costly rebounds. I mean, the defense can collapse all they want, but if there’s like 30 rebounds a night. I think it’s a legitimate concern that has to be solved.
