The Western Conference Quarterfinals head back to Glendale where the Red Wings and the Coyotes face off in what is now a best-of-three series.
Coming off the impressive 3-0 win on Tuesday, with a pair of goals by Henrik Zetterberg and a 29-save shutout by Jimmy Howard, the Red Wings seem to have shaken off what ailed them in their 4-2 Game 3 loss.
Will their defense continue to stand strong? We'll find out tonight. The game is a 10:00 pm ET start on FS Detroit, FS Arizona, Versus in the rest of the US, and TSN in Canada. Comment away below.

I always have itchy eyes that makes me feel like I’ve got a fever when I have a cold, that’s why I’m unsure. But the nose… feels like allergies. Guh. whatever it is, not pleasant. Umm, Wings, win me better? That’s doesn’t make sense. Just win.
Things were nice when we were playing Chicago and Pittsburgh last year. Well, not “nice,” but you know what I mean.

It’s a name for both guys and girls, kinda like Alex, and has been pretty popular for babies born in the 80s and the 90s. Used to be mainly a guy’s name, now I think there are more girls.
Michigander, liked how Gander sounded. Kind of like… wandering? I don’t know, a whim. In creative writing class I had to come up with a penname and I put down Mitch Gander, and since then Gander it has been.
We can actually make that happen whenever you want.

Horrible, I know. But then I switched to the ol’ goalie pads at age 12 and was given new life. Goalies are a special breed my friend.
I was a soccer goalie in high school
in grade school I got stuck in goal because everyone assumed I was the worst player. Ended up being an all conference/all district in high school.

Yeah, my local high school didn’t have a team, either (at the time). Don’t get me wrong, CC was an AMAZING college prep school, but it was a goddamn prison. It seriously skewed my entire outlook on humanity.
To make matters worse, I never ended up playing for CC. It’s NEARLY impossible to make the team as a Freshman or Sophomore (evidenced by Dave Moss, a friend of mine who is now a Calgary Flame, who didn’t even make the team those years), I wasn’t good enough / blew my knee the last two years.
So I skipped high school hockey altogether, and played in college instead. Funny how that works.

That’s awesomee. That trailer looked super cool, it’s something I would totally watch actually. David is good, I’ll never forget that playoff game against Detroit in 07 when he had a WIDE open nit and hit it high, the Franzen went and scored in the OT and won the series. Great game to be at, but he had the win in his stick.

That at most it’s a background hum of differing volume. When I’m focused on something I barely register environmental sounds, and I’m not trying to perform in an environment like that.

It is boring for a playoff game
but previous games weren’t that much better. There were good moments, but never a whole 60 minute thriller.
