I was at game 3 in Detroit
And in my section a couple rows in front were three Phoenix fans, all jersey fouls.
One had the old LSD-inspired Coyote jersey (which I give him props for, since he’s clearly a long-term fan to wear that).
One had a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey. Whatever, I guess.
And one had a current Phoenix jersey, number 30, with “Bryzzly Bear” on the back.

I feel bad for him missing – as an opponent I hate him, but that’s normal in sports.
The team is solid, though, and well-coached for a change – I don’t think that Phoenix will take a step backwards as Columbus did this year. At least I hope not, I like a lot of the players there.

i had a move that i could only use if i was in the upper offensive zone
basically you come across the ice at the circle-hash level on your strong-stick side and wait for the goal to freeze…worked like 85% or the time. except on like, hasek and roy

I also want his first game to be like a crazy week thing, where we goto a wings game and a lions/pistons/tigers game. Let him take it all in. But yea, I have never been to the Joe, to Comerica, or Ford Field. Been to Palace, Tiger Sadium (rip) and Silver Dome… none of the new ones though. Been about 3 years since I have been able to make it to Detroit.

well...
This year there was a pregame party, the game, late night conversations, and then the next day a few of us went to Henry Ford Museum and that evening we had a viewing party of the Wings game at Nashville. Several people were there for a few nights – got a group rate at the hotel.
Next year might be similar. Several people coming a long ways have voiced their opinion that it would be great to pick a hockey game that is within a few days of a home Tiger game so they can make one trip and see both.
It’s all for next year to figure out, but it might be worth considering. :)

I’ve only been a few times and with groups, but even the nosebleed seats aren’t that bad at all. The seats seem to be at a very steep angle. The only problem is that sometimes it’s hard to see the shot counter because all the banners get in the way.
