Detroit looks to split the first two games in San Jose by improving upon power play and penalty killing. The Wings will need to play solidly in the defensive zone yet put continuous pressure on Evgeni Nabokov. Limiting the time of possession for the Sharks is big to the potential success the Wings could have by doing so. Joe Pavelski has emerged as the offensive leader for the Sharks in addition to the threatening line of Heatley-Thornton-Marleau so the Detroit defense will have its hands full.
Puck drops at 8:00 p.m. ET and the game will air on Versus. Comment away below and GO WINGS!
