SCF schedule
Hey Casey, has anyone posted on the fact that there are no back to back games this year? What happened to needing to have games on Sat and Sun for exposure? And how about the 4 days off before the beginning of the series compared to 2 for us last year? What a bunch of shit!!!
to be fair
I don’t think they expect CHI-PHI to have as high a draw as a DET-PIT rematch did. But yeah, that’s an interesting tidbit I’ve overlooked.
No Limits.
No Coco this year
I’m pretty sure they squeezed those back-to-back games on Sat-Sunday because NBC had no intention of disturbing the premier of the “new” tonight show with Conan.
And I think they had the choice of either starting on 2 days rest or 8 (the following weekend Friday), and the league didn’t really want to lose momentum.
I’m not arguing that it didn’t suck for the Red Wings, but I’m not sure it really had anything to do with the teams playing.
