Game Thread: Sharks vs. Red Wings

San Jose Sharks at Detroit Red Wings, May 4, 2010 6:30 PM CDT

The Detroit Red Wings return to Joe Louis Arena for Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the San Jose Sharks. Coming off a pair of losses on the road, Detroit has to return to the magic that gave them a 3-0-1 during the regular season against the Sharks.

Tonight's game starts at 7:30 and will air in its entirety on Comcast Sports Net (California), Fox Sports Detroit, TSN, and the NHL Center Ice cable package. Versus will join the game in progress after the Pittsburgh/Montreal game ends. Please feel free to comment below.

SHARKS WIN !! SHARKS WIN !!

No whining about penalties tonight Wingnuts. You got WORKED in the 3rd period and in OT.

Sharks with a 3 – 0 series lead !!

GO SHARKS !!!

Can’t WAIT to hear how Zetterberg’s kick-in was really a goal & all the new whining you little girls do tonight.

not sure how much I'll be around online

I have a bunch of things to take care off, and I don’t want to deal with a freaking shark fan infestation either. They’re everywhere – it’s like they don’t even have their own blog to comment on. Barf.

I'm not interested in debating during the game

If I wanted to talk with Sharks fans, I know where to find them.

by Dubs Dima on May 4, 2010 6:36 PM CDT up reply actions

during the game, yes

When the game isn’t going on I am quite amenable to reasonable discussion, but during the game the opposing team is an obstacle that I want crushed with fatal force, and the fans of same are irritants that I would not only run over with a tank without hesitation to keep them quiet, but also back up to make sure they were ground into hamburger.

That’s why I never talk to opposing fans during a game. I avoid hurting their feelings that way.

living in tennessee, some of you might not know but its been pretty ridiculous these last couple days.

here is an article written by some preds fans:

great article about whats going on here. they have options on the side bar where you can donate, im not pressuring anyone to but anything will be greatly appreciated. if you dont want to donate thats fine, but id appreciate reading the article so you are aware, and maybe can spread the word to others who arent aware, beings the news rather cover michelle obama learning how to use twitter instead of the flood.

I have potential jobs near Columbus and Nashville. Which divisional rival do you think I should live nearer to (and attend games when the Wings are in town)? And why?

Also, spare me any Michigan-OSU rivalry arguments. I’m a born and raised Wisconsinite and Badger fan, so I don’t care.

Only 3 weak calls 2 us 1 them (I think) so better from Sunday. Lot of missed calls but I take it over more shitty calls

Gorgeous chance for Cammalleri.

Too bad Fleury made a great save.

I know.

Come on, Calamari… I mean Cammaleri!

For the record, I like Cammalleri because he played for Michigan. I shouldn’t have made the calamari joke because now I want a lightly battered and fried calamari…

Italians can’t help but love the little deep fried squids.

I like it battered, fried, and sauteed with spicy cherry peppers.

I'm surprised they didn't call Bertuzzi for his blatant hook at the end of the 2nd

but this game is looking a lot better overall. My faith in the Wings is restored (for now)
