2010 NHL Entry Draft Recap: Detroit Red Wings
Purely the picks. I'm sure Petrella will have something to say about each player. And if he doesn't, that's quite alright given his excellent coverage of the draft for us.

Yes
Obviously it’s too early to tell if the draft was successful (though, if it isn’t, you can blame player development for at least part of that), but from what I’ve read so far, it seems like they did an overall good job. (Of course, I’m not a scout, so who am I to comment?)
Hindsight is always 20-20, so in another three years we’ll be able to complain better.
Yes
Sheahan will develop great for at least 2 more years with Notre Dame the way Smith and Abdelkader did. And ND has the best coach out of those three for building a successful pro player. Also Teemu in the 4th round is a steal. Some people called his athletic talent top ten worthy. And in the 4th round I’m willing to take the risk that his injury problems continue to plague him

agreed
Teemu was supposed to be a top guy and the fact that he fell to us that late is incredible.
