Lebda Signs with the Maple Leafs

Lebda might actually get to see some playing time. It will be a whole new experience; instead of watching games from the press box. Funny how the KHL tells the guy to get lost, but Toronto says "eh, what the hell?"

Now that we know for sure Lebda will not in Detroit next year, which veteran defense men would you like to see the wings sign (with or without Modano).

What would you guys think about signing Matthieu Schneider again just for 1 year if he would go down to around $1mil? He made $1.55mil in Phoenix last season, and he’s 40 now.

I think Exelby might work out alright…kinda wanna see this russian defensemen theyre inviting to camp thats supposed to be very physical and mobile like Vlad was.

he’ll prolly spend the season in GR, but who knows? I just think the Wings need to get nastier on the blue-line and apparently you think so too. If it’s the Russian kid, great! If its Exelby, I won’t complain one bit.
