The Red Wings Roster for tonight is as follows:

Doesn't look good for television broadcast, but 97.1 The Ticket is carrying the feed, as is local Pittsburgh radio 105.9. It will be a little weird liveblogging a radio stream, but I'll be on for gametime.

Franzen's a great player
This injury won’t be serious, hopefully only last til preseason, and even less. He was supposed to score 30-40 goals this season. I will seriously be pissed off if he’s injured….

Ken Kal says it’s cheap and the refs gave him 5+10 penalties. I’d say there’s more than enough evidence of cheapness there.
When (or rather IF) I see video of this hit, it’s going to have to convince me it WASN’T cheap. Orpik doesn’t get benefit of the doubt.

The Lightning are going to be more impressive this year, (or should I say, the Yzerman’s). He’s somethin’ else.
The core is in place there, and knowing Stevie’s experience with the Wings and Team Canada, he’ll build a good team using patience. Plus, having him as GM will draw free agents there to play for him.

Halfway through the 2nd. Probably just pre-planned. Aside from the really weak goal, Turco has kept the Hawks in this game. TB is outplaying them.

I'm pretty sure he's the Hawks version of McCollum or Pearce.
Not likely he’ll get time in the regular season.

Think I might go to the Bolts/Hawks game.. It’s tied 1-1 in the 2nd. Be nice to see the Hawks lose for once.

but I think both teams are tying to get out of here without any more injuries. Penguins have outplayed us this period. I think we’ve taken 3 minors in the third so far.
