Is the app all that much better than the mobile site?

I have to ask because I’m an Android user, and because most apps just end up being annoying when the site(s) already have a mobile version.

I hate Jonathon Ericsson.

The comment experience...

in the app is definitely better than the mobile site. You can keep track of read/unread comments, there is a “next unread button” which jumps you to the next unread comment while marking it read at the same time.

The older features are better too. You can quickly jump from one blog to another and we notify you of updates to major stories that interest you.

Android app will be out by the holidays and have all of the same functionality of the iphone app.
