The Predators come into Detroit for the first meeting of the season between these division rivals as one of four teams who didn't play yesterday. The Wings played a tough physical game in Boston yesterday, but as it was a matinee, they've had a little bit more time than usual to rest up for the 2nd night of a back-to-back. Hopefully they'll be able to keep their legs through the whole game.
Howard gets the start again, his 15th straight. At some point, Detroit's backup has to get another start, no? Howard's been stellar, but we need two good goalies running through the season for us and we're no longer in such a precarious spot standings-wise.
There's a lot about the Predators to hate.
