They still need the youngin'. [Ed Note: Unsurprising move. Smith still has one game remaining of NHL suspension. He might serve it the night of the 8th while the Griffins are off and the Wings play the Avalanche, but Grand Rapids has a noon home game on the 9th. A trip to St. Louis on the 15th might also be a good candidate game to finish his suspension without keeping him out of the Griffins' lineup. What do you think?]
