I just thought I'd take a quick look at the projected stats for our beloved Red Wings' players from this point in the season.. I noticed that Zetterberg and Datsyuk have both been playing a lot better in the previous 15 games or so than before, as I'm sure we've all noticed, and so here's what I found..

Given the pace that Zetterberg has been on in his past 13 games (14 points), if he keeps up this pace plus his lackluster 6 points in the first 16 games, he's on pace to get 77 points. Not bad considering how he started the season, he just needs to keep producing now at this click.

Datsyuk is very similar, but better. He had a dismal 10 points in the first 16 games, but has responded to his "awful" play in the past 13 games with 20 points.. fire, in other words. So the same way I calculated Hank's projected stats, I did the same for Datsyuk and found that if he keeps up this rampant pace in addition to his 10 points in his first 16 games, he's on pace for 111 points.. Now, I personally don't think he'll keep clicking at 1.5 points a game, but sufficed to say that if he continues even close to this pace, he could still finish the season between 90 and 100 points, which would be a welcome surprise after the beginning of the season that both he and Hank had.

Here are some other projections:

Franzen - 40 goals, 82 points.

Flip - 73 points

TPH - 57 points (good for like his 5th best season) and a +34 rating.

Whitey - 41 points, +53 (insane +/- !!)

Happy - 52 points (Not sure what to think about this.. I still expect more..)

Cleary - 20 goals (not his best, but I'll take it.. I don't have a lot of expectations quite honestly for him)

Howie - On pace for 50 wins if he were to play 70 games... is this overworking him? Who knows, he's young.. but that would be amazing if he got anywhere near 50 wins.
