On The Fourth Day of Christmas, Ken Holland Gave To Me
[Over the next 12 days, we here at WIIM are going to be bringing you the 12 Days of Christmas, only we'll be putting a Red Wing spin on things. Starting today and for the next 12 days, check back for a new reason to be proud to be a Wing fan.]
On the fourth day of Christmas, Ken Holland gave to me
Four Helm PKs
Follow the jump for more videos.
And who could possibly forget this one?
Even though this technically was not a PK, this was kind of an important goal in Wings' history.

The PK from 2009
still gives me goosebumps every time I see it. I think that one play, and the fact that he scored the game/series winner in OT, cemented Helmer’s place as a Red Wing.
may i suggest for tomorrow
Five Golden Sweeds :).. been thinkin about that one all day
We already had 5 picked out
Jeff said no to the Golden Swedes thing because of Samuelsson.

Jeff ruins everything
But you’ll find that tomorrow does have a distinctive Swedish flavour (that’s how they spell it in Sweden).
and Canada eh!
Btw.. i didn’t realize that E52 is actually from Sweden!
I was shocked when I looked up it
so actually six Sweeds
Apparently
They spell it “smak”, according to Google Translate.
Which makes me feel better about actually looking that up.
