1979-80: Billy Smith (NYI) was credited with a goal after a player on the (now extinct) Colorado Rockies scored on his own team

1987-88: Ron Hextall (PHI) became the first goalie in history to score the rare empty net goal against the Bruins

1988-89: Ron Hextall, (PHI) not satisfied yet became the first (and only) goalie to score in back-to-back seasons, the first goalie to score in the playoffs, and the first (and only) goalie to score a shorthanded goal in this game against the Capitals

1995-96: The one most of us here remember fondly, Chris Osgood (DERP) scores an empty netter against the now defunct Hartford Whalers

1998-99: Damian Rhodes (OTT) credited with a goal after Devils player Scott Niedermayer puts the puck into his own net

1999-2000: Fatty Broduer (DERRRRRRP) scores again, this time after a Flyers player scores for him and is credited with the first (and only) game winning goal ever scored by a goaltender.

2000-01: Jose Theodore (MTL) scores an empty netter against the Islanders

2001-02: Evgeni Nabokov (SJS) scores the only PP goal (the 4th consecutive season a goalie scored) in history (for goalies obviously) against the Canucks. This was also the last time a goalie scored by shooting the puck into an empty net. The next 3 were all scored by the opposing team.

2003-04: Mika Noronen (BUF) is credited with a goal after a Leafs player scores on his own team. This would be the only thing Noronen ever did as no one remembers him.

2005-06: Finally we have Chris Mason (NAS) who was given a freebie off of the Coyotes
