would this have made it 2-1 or 3-1? i cant remember, but this could have turned the tide. i was so pissed when i watched the highlights.
Is it sad that this actually makes me long for the days of the stupid crease rule?
Stupid as it was, at least it was a very concrete idea…skate in crease=no goal, stay outside of crease=goal. Now we live in a world where the latter isn’t even true.
By no means am I saying I want the crease rule back (may it burn in hell forever)…but damnit this is happening too often to justify it as just a “mistake” by the refs part. This rule needs fixing…
