Unfortunately, we found out tonight that another one of our beloved Wings has been lost.  I'm talking, of course, about....

Ken Daniels.  Yes, our beloved announcer has begun doing work for Versus.  Ok, ok, it's not permanent, but I don't know whether to be proud or ashamed of him doing games on VS.  The other announcers on the network, Emrick, Forslund, etc. are all polarizing figures.  You either love them or hate them, and I know a lot more people that hate them rather than love them.  Daniels is much better than any of those other clowns IMO, but I fear that many other viewers will come to hate him, and the Wings even more by association, due to his constant screaming.  That's the only thing I dislike about Daniels - he makes a normal sentence seem as though his audience is hard of hearing.

 

Other than that, congratulations, I guess, to Kenny for getting a national gig.  Let's see how long he holds onto it.
