No Suspension for Bertuzzi?
Per Pierre LeBrun at ESPN, it sounds like there may be no further discipline on Todd Bertuzzi for his hit on Ryan Johnson.
This is NOT an official announcement, and we will keep our eyes and ears open for confirmation of this news. If true, I'll admit to being pleasantly surprised, as I thought he'd get a game for sure.

I would have been surprised if he were suspended.
If anything, the “intent” he showed was to avoid a hit, not to target the head. He turned his back trying to let up on the hit, and in putting his arms out to balance himself, caught Johnson in the head.
2 years ago, there is zero call on this play. It’s sad that we’re to the point where incidental conduct results in 5 and a game and concern about supplemental discipline.

Berts game-penalty paid for it;
he truly has changed his game since the incident;
i’m happy w/ the lack of suspension

He apologized for the hit.
I think that speaks a lot about how he feels about his game, and his efforts to change it.
