X Ways to S the Bed.

Well, this is a game I'd rather forget about.  What looked like it was going to be a strong statement game by the Wings, quickly devolved into a cluster puck.

However, it is only 1 out of 82.  1 out of 98 if you count the playoff run this year.

Follow me after the jump for your Opening Day X Ways.

I - For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land.

II - Ironic as it sounds with a 10-3 score, the goalies aren't to blame for this one.

III - I was all ready to question Toronto's inability to discern what a kicking motion is, but it doesn't really matter.

IV - *crying quietly in corner* It's only 1 game.  It's only 1 game.  It's only 1 game......

V - We didn't get to add an extra nail to the coffin, but the Blues were officially eliminated before the game started.

VI - I kinda feel sorry for Thomas McCollum.  His first career game for the Wings, and the rest of the team didn't even show up.

VII - The Blues really should suspend T.J. Oshie more often.

VIII - Is anybody still reading this?

IX - It could have been worse.  Joey could have stormed to the owner's box and had a hissy fit.

X - Up Next - Motor City @ Music City.   3pm Saturday
