It's kind of sad. We have a little list of games in the story editor for "GameThreads" that links each thread to the game coverage. This is the last one for the regular season. Awwwww
The Red Wings head to Chicago to play the Blackhawks in the final game of the regular season. It's simple for the Blackhawks: win and they're in--or go to OT, but there's no rhyme for that. If they lose (in regulation), then the Stars have a very winnable game against the Minnesota Wild to tie the Blackhawks in points.
Jimmy Howard will go for his 37th win of the season, which would tie his total from his rookie campaign last year. Corey Crawford will start in net for the Blackhawks as they are fighting for their playoff lives because really, would you trust a game this big to Marty Turco? That's what I thought.
Puck drops at 12:30 PM ET and the game will air on NBC. Comment away below and LET'S GO RED WINGS!
