RED WINGS LEAD SERIES 3-0
The Red Wings head into tonight's game with an opportunity to close out the series in the shortest amount of time possible. However, Phoenix is not going to want to go out with a whimper and will come out with a lot of energy and drive. The key to the game may very well lie in how the first 10 minutes of the game goes. The Wings need to continue to work hard but need to be mindful of how Phoenix is going to play. Detroit can't pull a Canucks tonight, that's for sure.
Jimmy Howard will start in goal for the Red Wings, opposite Ilya Bryzgalov at the other end.
