Thank You WIM!
Hey everybody! Many different people mentioned this last night in the thread, but I think it is worth mentioning again here in a fan post. THANK YOU!!! I started reading this website in the off season and joined in the preseason. It lead to this being one of the most enjoyable seasons of hockey I can remember that did not end in a Stanley Cup. It is great having a place to talk Wings with people who are as obsessed, passionate, and crazy as I am. There were so many fun times this season; from anteaters to spiderman...from operation curly fries to the "classy" thread (still IMO, the funniest three hours ever in the early season San Jose thread). Add to all of that the informative discussion that goes on here, and this website became daily reading for me. You are all awesome, and it will be a long summer until training camp...but the offseason should provide us some interesting developments to discuss.
Special thanks to Casey, J.J., and Amerinadian...you guys obviously work hard on this website and it really pays off. Your work has given me, and I am sure many others a permanent place to come to for everything Wings, and I know I am not the only one who really appreciates the work you do.
Take care all you classy bitches...and seriously, Thanks!

Great post.
I was going to write something very similar, but I haven’t recovered enough yet. I still feel kind of sick and unable to do justice to what I want to say. I’ll post more later when it doesn’t hurt quite so much. For now I will say, thank you so much! Thank you to everyone here, to J.J, Casey,Graham, and everyone else who contributed. Thank you to everyone who posted here and made my hockey addiction even sweeter. I’ve finally found people who are as obsessed and in love with the Wings as I am, and I didn’t think that was possible. I’ve found my hockey home and I’m proud to have shared the last month and a half with you classy people.

"We still believe"- Pavel Datsyuk
What does that tell you?
Thank you so much
I’ve had more fun as a hockey fan this season overall than ever. Sharing the blog with everybody has been an extremely gratifying experience this year.
Even better, getting to meet in-person at H2H2 so many of the people I had only ever spoken with online was great. I’m not looking forward to the summer, really, but I’m definitely looking forward to doing this again next season!

Thank you
As a fan, this was an extremely enjoyable season for me, even if the outcome wasn’t what we all wanted.
I looked forward to the game threads because it was almost like being at the game with a bunch of fans, albeit virtually. I love having an outlet for my thoughts on the Wings, and appreciate each and everyone of you who reads, even when you disagree.
H2H2 was the highlight of my 24 years of being a Red Wing fan, and I’m looking forward to meeting even more of you next year. We’ve got big plans for the summer, and I’m already counting down the days until the puck drops for next season.
Today was my first day on the blogs since the loss.
And I’m glad this is the first thing I read. I found this blog last off season and have loved it since. I never thought I would find a something that ad my passions for analytical hockey talk/stats (CSSI), my love of bullshitting (Game threads), and also have futurama/simpsons quotes around every corner. You guys do an awesome job here.
I also want to comment on how awesome the Wings “Blogosphere” (Why do I hate that word so much?) is in general. WIIM and The Production Line are always fantastic. And when The Triple Deke and The Scrappy Octopus are writing I can guarantee I’m laughing.
So again, thank you for running this site, and I hope I can make it to H2H3 next year and meet all of you in person.
