They rode a President's Trophy into the playoffs, albeit mired in a slump while the Red Wings' first round opponent the Vancouver Canucks rode a hot streak into the playoffs. The trend continued for the first two games with the Canucks heading back to Vancouver with two wins in hand on Joe Louis Arena ice. Game 3 was in doubt until Nicklas Lidstrom skated the puck up from the Red Wings' zone and unleashed a shot on Dan "Hey, where's the puck? Oh. . .
