Detroit looks to win their 2nd straight road game as they head into Phoenix on Thursday night for a tussle with a Coyotes team that got their asses kicked 6-2 by the Anaheim Ducks last night. The Five For Howling pregame writeup game plan is to hope that the Red Wings watched that shitshow and won't take the Coyotes seriously.
Unfortunately, that's an actual concern. If the Wings play their game, the Coyotes don't stand a chance. The good news is that the garbage ice in Dallas on Tuesday might have helped them get prepared for another southern surface (although I believe the Phoenix ice is better than Dallas').
Game style prediction: If the game is exciting, the Wings win.

Totally off topic, but I’ve been playing around with friends on the new Gears of War 3 maps. That console should not be capable of pumping out graphics that good 7 years after it came out.
And some of the new maps are the best the game has too, which is nice.

I gave it to my sister to take to school in NYC
I enjoyed it for Twilight Princess, Metroid 3, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, and some of the other stuff, but I just didn’t play it enough to warrant keeping it around. So it was either sell it, or give it to my sis.

Maybe it was just me then.
I got really bored with it really quickly. It didn’t seem as tight or well-designed as Melee.
But yeah, I kept my Wii around long enough to play the new Kirby side-scroller and Skyward Sword.
I still have the games, so I can go back to them sometime down the road if I ever feel like it, once my sis gets back with it from school.

Kind of random since the Nucks and Wings aren’t playing too soon, but he’s a BC guy so maybe he was just visiting home.
Very smart guy. Has a real understanding of athletes and player development, even a touch of the psychology side. You can see why team has so much success with reclamation projects (guys who weren’t doing great on other teams, or who had been given up on in other systems), and why they’re so good at picking players for the perfect roles in their system.
I look forward to a least a few more instances of him helping to put together Team Canada’s to paste Team USAs. :D

They should at least do a 3 point split like the CCHA. Win in regulation, get 3 points, win in OT get 2 points and lose in OT get 1 point.. That would at least make regulation wins more valuable.
