What a well-spoken, down-to-earth sounding guy! Great blogger too. Wish he did this all the time, because his insight into the end of the fiasco at the Bell Centre was awesome.

But, win or lose, I just hope that I don’t do what Tim Thomas did last year in Carolina and fall.

Last goalie that fell during the fastest skater competition had a pretty good run in the playoffs, if memory serves.

Way to go Jimmah!!

At least at the end of the day, you got beat by a guy with the last name “Quick” and you’re not Tim Thomas.

The highlight of the competition for me though, has to be Stammer winning the shootout elimination event. Not only because of the 3 sweet moves he laid down, but the fact he put himself into winning position with a goal on Thomas and then Jimmah was able to clinch it for him with the final save. Love when my guys work together, haha.

Looking forward to the game today. Doesn’t really matter what “team/side” wins. Just so long as our guys put on a good show. Jimmah with some great saves and of course, Pavel & Stammer with some sweet moves. Most important.. everyone stays healthy.

Jimmy and Quick had a gentleman’s agreement..

As for his race against Howard, Quick said they had a gentleman’s agreement … that he may have violated.

“I think Howie might be mad at me. We made a deal that we weren’t gonna go too hard. I think it came down to that he tried a little less hard than I did,” said Quick.

“An agreement that he violated? No,” said Howard. "I was being very cautious. I didn’t want to end up like Timmy did last year and blow a tire going around the turn.

“Maybe a little too cautious.”
