We talk all the time of the value of Helm, Datsyuk, Lidstrom, etc. Every once in a while Miller and Eaves get complemented for their PK, but I just wanted take a moment to say how brilliant Kenny was to bring them both in and keep both.

It always seems to me that generally, if Miller is hurt, Eaves is raring to go and vice versa. On the rare occasion that they both are healthy, someone else on 3/4 is hurt or Cleary is bumped up because Bertuzzi or Holmstrom is out. They always fill a need.

Eaves may have a little more natural scoring ability, they both play hustle hockey, kill penalties, play solid D, pass the puck, finish hits, and generally make fewer mistakes than their counterparts. Which puts the the Red Wings in great position to win.
