Winging It In Motown Radio: Episode 7
It's 2012 and it's first WIIM Radio podcast of the new year.
We touch a bit on Tuesday night's win in Dallas against the Stars, but it wouldn't be the new year season without a little Winter Classic talk. Rumors are swirling that the next installment of the the NHL's main regular season attraction will be headed to Detroit. We discuss which venue the Red Wings should hold the Classic in, who they should play, and our expectations for the team on 24/7.
Of course, we also play a little word association and add a new game of FMK to the docket (Don't know what FMK is? Listen and find out!)
So enjoy the latest episode of WIIM Radio. You can check us out on iTunes and download the podcast to your iPod or iPhone. You can also download the episode here. Stick tap to Brandon Langer for creating our intro. Check out his other music on Facebook and iTunes.
Let's Go Red Wings.

if they have it at Michigan Stadium
it will definitely definitely be the Leafs. That way they’d have no shortage of folks from Windsor to fill the seats if there aren’t enough Wings fans to do the job. All the red and blue in the stands would be aesthetically appealing too.

Couldnt agree
more with moving nyquist with pav, and mule. For the love of god I just want to see it for 1 game. There is no justification for why bertuzzi is on the top line anyway.
What you guys said about the names...
It’s the worst when announcers don’t know names. I completely agree – it’s their job, they need to know the pronunciations. I’ve had to deal with Pat fucking Foley for years and it just gets worse every time. It’s just got to be malevolent at some point since I just can’t believe that he’s merely stupid.
Living in Chicago is great... apart from the Blackhawks fans.
